It has been confirmed last week that the upcoming film on Andy Warhol will be produced by Jared Leto. The actor acquired the rights back in 2016, and will also interpret the role of the famed pop artist.

Leto will, alongside Michael De Luca, serve as a producer of the biopic, while Terence Winter who penned The Wolf of Wall Street and Boardwalk Empire’s will work on the script. Additional details are yet to be announced and the release period still remains unknown. In 2016, the movie was said to be based on Victor Bockris’ Warhol: The Biography.
